ENERGETIC ALL-ROUNDER
AT YOUR SERVICE

Hi there! I'm Amanda, a 27-year-old master's student of Environmental Geography based in the beautiful city of Trondheim, Norway.
Welcome aboard my CV homepage – it's a pleasure to meet you! 😊

HERE'S A GLIMPSE INTO MY JOURNEY OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS:
📝 Finishing a MSc. in (Bio-)Geography at NTNU in June 2025.
🎓 Completed my BSc. in Human & Physical Geography at NTNU in 2023.
🚤 Served as founder and full-time manager of Trondheim By Boat, a thriving local tourism and events company for 5 years (2018-2023), with many cultural projects and social initiatives for the community.
🔬 Before diving into Geography, I spent two years immersing myself in the fascinating world of Cell and Molecular Biology (NTNU, 2017-2019).
🌎 Went on exchange to UCSB in sunny California back in 2018 to learn more about microbiology.
🧪 My journey at NTNU began in 2016/17 with year of interesting Chemistry studies.
🗺️ Both before and alongside my academic pursuits, I've had the chance to gain international work experience across various sectors.
2 years ago, after much reflection and eager to learn more about the world, I decided to take a break from the business-sector, handing the company over to my wonderful team and setting the course towards new horizons.
Hoping to connect my multidisciplinary interests, my current focus lies on further studies related to BioGeoChemistry, whilst also keenly acknowledging the societal dimensions of today's environmental challenges as a Geographer.
I'm captivated by the application of systems-based problem-solving, love a good challenge, and have a knack for effective visual knowledge communication through the realms of graphical design & arts. Never minded holding a presentation and am used to tailoring content to suit a broad spectrum of audiences - interactivity and engagement is key regardless of who you're presenting for. I'll make sure nobody falls asleep.
Ready for new adventures and looking forward to contribute.
So, welcome aboard my journey! Feel free to explore my CV below and get in touch – I'm always up for connecting with fellow enthusiasts, potential collaborators, future colleagues or anyone who shares my passion for exploring the world through geography and science. Let's embark on this exciting voyage together! ⛵🌏

Business Consultant
As Trondheim By Boat continues its voyage I have the pleasure of accompanying my former team including the new management as a consultant in further resource & process optimization, market expansion and strategical development matters in the years to come.

2018-2023
Founder & Manager of Trondheim By Boat
Trondheim By Boat, a local tour operator & events management company offering a variety of unique boat tours and combined experiences (boat tours + guided historical city walks + museum visits + culinary experiences + concerts & mores) along the river Nidelva and the Trondheimsfjord. Operations were year round with traditional clinker-built (UNESCO) boats with a capacity for up to 12 passengers + crew each. All experiences had a focus on the conveyance of local cultural and nature- values. In the early beginning the concept was tested as part of a market viability analysis project with financial support from Innovation Norway. With vocal support from the regional tourism community and market acceptance documented above all expectations, it became clear that the concept had development potential. As the company expanded, my duties included team management, hiring, training of new skippers & guides, maritime safety management, partnership contract negotiation, customer service, marketing, press communication and strategic business development in collaboration with the board. At most, the company had 3 employees in the office, 8 regular freelance skippers and guides from multiple nations with various educational backgrounds (Archeology, Biology, Geography etc.) and 2 volunteers, in addition to the board, accounting and regular external collaborative partners. Main clients stem from the cruise industry (AIDA, MEIN SCHIFF, HAVILA etc.), local businesses, destination marketing (Visit Trondheim / Trøndelag reiseliv), educational institutions, the private tourism & local events market and not least the many sponsor-funded (Solofondet, Sparebank 1 SMN etc.) social initiatives (especially youth initiatives) which were my personal passion.
